Former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra is liked by cricket fanatics because of his Hindi commentary. After retiring from the game, he chose to give his voice to the game. And now, he is a prominent Hindi commentator for Star Sports. He also openly gives his opinion about the game on his Youtube channel.

In a recent interaction, Aakash Chopra, who has represented India in 10 Test matches, was asked an interesting question. He was told to pick the current Indian cricketers who have the ability to become a very good commentator. Surprisingly, he picked up the off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin.

According to Aakash Chopra, Ashwin has good knowledge of cricket and could be part of discussions. He added that he would become a great English Commentator.

“Ravi Ashwin should make a great English commentator, he will be good in the dugout, he’s very bright, intelligent and smart,” Chopra said while speaking at the RK Show.

Further, he also picked up the Kul-Cha Jodi for Hindi commentary. He said that Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal could use their humour. He added that Kuldeep is under-rated but he could also be fun during the commentary.

“In Hindi, Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav can be fun. Kuldeep is actually under-rated, he can be funny. So, Kuldeep Yadav will be my dark horse,” the 42-year-old added.

Recently, Aakash Chopra and his kids were abused a lot by the fans for not picking MS Dhoni in his probable Indian squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup. He had to take a break from social media to ignore the heat of fans.
