David Warner Picks The Player Who Can Break The Test Record Of Brian Lara


David Warner, on the day two of the second Test match, registered his first 300 runs in the Test cricket. In his unbeaten innings, he scored 335 runs and would have broken the record of legend Brain Lara’s 400 Test runs knock if captain Tim Paine had not declared the innings.





In his comeback Test series, Ashes 2019, David Warner had a disappointing start, in five Test matches, he scored 95 runs. But his real comeback can be seen in the home Test series against Pakistan.





He stood for two days in the second Test match in Adelaide where he scored 335* runs. Pakistan Bowlers were clueless in front of the persistent David Warner. In keeping the mind of weather conditions, Tim Paine decided to declare the innings keeping aside the individual records.





However, Tim Paine’s decision at the end proved to beneficial for the host. Mitchell Starc, with his stunner bowling, picked four wickets of Pakistan. The second day ended with the visitors reduced to 96 for 6.





David Warner picked the Name





After day two of the match, David Warner talked about his game. He was also aksed to name the person who can break the record of Brian Lara. The player took the name of India’s opening Test batsman Rohit Sharma.



“If I had to name one player, I reckon it could be Rohit Sharma,” said Warner.
